Presenting & UGC
From a young age I’ve always dreamed of being a sports presenter. I’ve had professional training from industry experts during my Master’s Degree which has set me up to become confident and coherent on the mic.
Over the last year whilst working for the United Rugby Championship I have conducted interviews with fans on the ground at our matches, which I absolutely love to do.
A personal highlight during this time was outputting an “Instagram Stories Take-over” on the mic at the URC 26/27 Grand Final.
Alongside presenting, I’ve been lucky enough to capture user-generated content (UGC) of our competition’s marquee players.
I have a deep-rooted passion for story-telling and strongly believe that the best pieces of content we produce on our social channels are forged from natural, spontaneous and sometimes emotional conversations.
My personal goals with presenting are huge. I am excited to build on this foundation and take my skillset to the next level.
Podcast Production
In September 2021 I began studying a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Nottingham. This reignited a flame of childhood ambitions to work my way into a career in Sports Media.
My final year dissertation was titled “The Audio Ascension: Analysing How Podcasting Has Influenced Modern Media Consumption In A Rapidly Evolving Technological Era". This research project considered how podcasting has changed the ways in which media is consumed, considering the viewpoints of students and professionals at the heart of the educational and sports industries.
I received a First Class grade, a mark of 75% and a Commendation.
Whilst also gaining hands-on podcasting experience as a part of University Radio Nottingham, our award-winning radio station, I developed a strong base of theoretical and practical understanding of podcasts.
Now, since December 2025, I have been responsible for the United Rugby Championship’s flagship podcast, “SEND IT”, as the show’s Producer. I like to think of the podcast as a ‘player personality’ platform, shining a light on our stars as people as well as players.
